Mid February Update - new designer tool available now!

We are excited to announce that the garment customizer tool is now live on the website. Check it out!

You can select from any of our clipart or upload your own artwork. Design that perfect shirt for any event, just the way you want it! Over the next several weeks (and going forward) we will be adding additional options for garments to be customized and additional stock artwork. Check back often!

Now, I'm going to go into a bit of a diatribe about our print process and options (skip if you're not interested in the details, I won't be offended, I promise).

We offer two different processes for garment printing.

The first is called "Direct to Film" (DTF for short, hey, I don't make the acronyms). DTF is a method of digitally transferring designs or printed pictures to “film” directly utilizing cutting-edge technology. DTF printing is useful for a wide range of applications. Washability has been proven through testing to be equal to if not better than traditional direct-to-garment printing. Direct-to-film transfer (DTF) allows us to easily apply the artwork on difficult/ awkward parts of the garment or fabric. This process produces crisper images with a feel like traditional screen printing.

The second method of printing that we can do is called Direct to Garment (DTG for short). DTG is a process of printing on textiles using specialized aqueous ink jet technology. Printer inks are jetted or sprayed onto the textile by the print head using a specialized printer. DTG typically requires that the garment be pre-treated prior to printing. This promotes:

  • Stronger bond between garment fibers and the pigmented inks
  • Lays down loose fibers to provide for a smoother feel
  • Chemically reacts with the inks to promote drying and curing

Both methods are a digital process in which the image is rasterized using specialized software and sent to the printer in a similar method to how you print documents at home (there's a lot more to it, but we'll leave it at that for now).

If you've read this far, thanks for sticking with me. We are excited to work with you on your printing needs. If you have any issues with the new tool, feel free to reach out through any of our contact methods.

Spring is coming, and we are gearing up to be ready for all your spring sport needs. We are always open to suggestions on sports items you would like to see conveniently available in the store. We have access to all name branded gear for any sport and don't forget to check our consignment section regularly as we are consistently taking in new items.

As always, we appreciate you and look forward to working with you on your sports or printing needs.

Have a great week!

Patrick
